Michigan International Speedway Photos
2 weeks late, yet nobody will even know, because I'm the only audience for my creations..
Please forgive us for the delay in the postings. While I'm fully aware that nobody even reads these blog posts yet, especially because nobody even visits this website since Jose Madrid Salsa still insists on using their old website rather than the brand new custom website designed especially for them for over 10 months time now! But, we will get there and this will be an important piece of precedent in the content flow that we adopt and enact on a regular basis. Stay tuned.

Here's the thing, if you aren't hip to the NASCAR circuit at The Groves of Michigan International Speedway, then you likely cannot appreciate this content and may as well move on. However, if you happen to be one of the lucky few that are blessed to the extent that you have spent at least one or more years of the previous decade plus with us at the Groves of Michigan, this one is for you... It was the great people of Michigan that inspired me to begin growing this blog, to begin publishing not just boring Facebook updates, but real, actual content, that will only have value, meaning, purpose, for those that were there, for those that partake in stories alongside us. While any fans who visit us each year at this historic event may come each year to watch the cars and spend the weekend drinking themselves to oblivion while creating new memories with the family, this is our perspective, our stories, our takes from what we gain from all of you...
I'm gonna keep it real, I started this website 10 months ago, all on a whim. To be honest, I was high as a kite and had nothing better to do with my life, I had no direction, was fresh out of prison, and honestly, why not? I needed someone to bless with a gift that they could never afford, and a way to showcase my work in ways that I never could with my OWN work... Therefore, I had to build and showcase my talents to the world, for the world, for someone else... (By the way, my portfolio, https://www.jlang.dev) Check it out, I'm pretty good...
Anyway, as I was saying, I never thought that 10 months ago starting to build a salsa website would ever lead me to such a transformative experience, such a roller coaster ride of emotions, growth, and overall joy and satisfaction... I gained a new family here, and I truly mean that. However, the greatest gift that I have been given thus far, is Michigan. I have taken part in roughly 10-15 shows so far, and aside from the few Cleveland/Columbus shows, I've done more shows in Michigan than I've done anywhere else. In fact, I enjoy coming to Michigan so much, that I actively look forward to interacting with Michiganders even though overall, I'm not a big talker... I prefer to stand back, get some sun, admire the scenery (Michigan women are far more beautiful than the wide open Michigan pastures that I always enjoy crossing through your great state), and just enjoy the atmosphere that I can't always experience anywhere other than at events in your fantastic state...
So I would like to say thank you, I would like to say thank you to the wild, welcoming, and overall wholesome experiences that Michigan has given to me. It is thanks to you all, thanks to these past few events (East Lansing and Michigan International Speedway) that has inspired me to take this platform to a new level. So I would like to announce that from now on, at each and every event, I will be hosting a live broadcast straight from the salsa booth, right here on our fantastic new website and on our Facebook Page and TikTok Profile. I plan on documenting what life on the road is like, slinging salsa from the Northern shores to the warm coastal waters off the coast of Florida and everywhere in between. Not only will I be archiving and sharing live feeds from the events we are at each weekend, but I will be recording content behind the scenes as Matt and I drive 400 miles to sell you all salsa in a van with no air conditioning, radio, or power steering... I will be including video clips, photographs, and story lines highlighting the dull moments, the bizarre conversations about Zanesville's latest mugshots or in-depth dives into Jesus and how we serve our fellow brothers and sisters, one salsa jar at a time...
Next time you see us out and about, be sure to stop by and say hi, purchase a jar of our award winning salsa, and take a photo with Matt and I to be featured in one of our photo galleries, get featured on a blog post, or just say hi and enjoy a free sample of our unique line of over 30+ salsas. That'll do it for now, until we see you out and about at an event near you, please take the time and send an email to mike@josemadridsalsa.com and tell Mike or Matt how important it is that you want them to finally switch the websites and make this new, feature filled, content packed, and fully functional web application to go live (It's been ready to replace the old website for months now yet they seem to be in no hurry to do anything about it, so your help would really be appreciated.) Until next time, thank you for all your support and I look forward to pouring you a shot of your favorite salsa sometime very soon. Take care!
