The Michigander Melt - May 2026
Spartan Pride showed up this past weekend in East Lansing!
The weather was beautiful as the crowds descended on Michigan State University for the Spring Art Show! We were (nearly) front row and center to share our Award Winning Salsa with the fine people of Michigan, sharing sights, sun, and some very great interactions with the fine people of Michigan! It was a blast and we always enjoy visiting the fine people of Michigan!

The weather could not have been more perfect as crowds gathered at Michigan State University for the annual Spring Art Show. With sunshine overhead and an incredible atmosphere throughout the event, it was the perfect setting for a weekend full of art, community, conversation, and — of course — Award Winning salsa.
We were fortunate to have an amazing spot, nearly front row and center, where we had the opportunity to meet countless wonderful people from across Michigan. Throughout the day, visitors stopped by to sample our products, share stories, and enjoy the experience together. Events like these are always about more than just great food — they’re about connecting with people, building relationships, and becoming part of the local community for a little while.
One of the best parts of attending shows like this is seeing the energy and creativity that fills the event space. Artists, families, students, vendors, and visitors all came together to celebrate local talent and enjoy a beautiful spring weekend. The combination of live interaction, incredible artwork, and fantastic weather made the entire experience unforgettable.
We truly had a blast spending the weekend in Michigan, and we always appreciate the warm welcome we receive whenever we visit. The kindness, enthusiasm, and support from everyone who stopped by our booth made the event incredibly rewarding.
To everyone who came out to the Spring Art Show, sampled our salsa, shared a conversation, or simply stopped to say hello — thank you. We look forward to seeing all of you again soon!
